Deals were everywhere, but consumers were so anxious to get their hands on discounted goods that many retailers — a good deal of them Wal-Mart (NYSE:) stores — saw unheard of levels of violence. signal that it might be time for online commerce — and its Cyber Monday — to replace the brick-and-mortar rush of Black Friday.
Which, of course, it has. In the past, most retailers emphasized in-store-only deals, leaving online-only retailers like Amazon (NASDAQ:) to strike the following week on Cyber Monday. But over time, traditional businesses have joined the online rush. In addition to , many retailers have been quick to embrace another chance to whip consumers into a deal-stirred friendly just a few days afterward. And, just like many retailers , some companies couldn’t help but offer their Cyber Monday deals a little early.
Here’s a look at some of the best Cyber Monday electronics deals of 2011, including a couple you can find Sunday (and some that could last all week):
Nokia N8 Smartphone (Amazon)
Cyber Monday’s arguable originator, Amazon, saved a couple of its big-ticket bargains for Monday. Chief among them is Nokia‘s (NYSE:) N8 smartphone. Introduced in November 2010, the N8 was Nokia’s flagship device until it introduced the new Microsoft-powered (NASDAQ:) Lumia line. The N8 is a capable and well-reviewed smartphone that has been ignored by consumers first because they prefer brands like Apple (NASDAQ:) and second because of its ridiculous price of $549.
Amazon is giving the phone a second lease on life, offering an . It can be used with any carrier that has a GSM network, such as AT&T (NYSE:). That $250 haircut is a Cyber Monday deal worth logging on for.
$100 in Free Accessories With Sony Tablet S (Target)
Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Apple’s iPad are the tablets of choice for consumers this holiday season, which means numerous competing devices are receiving heavy discounts.
Target (NYSE:
) isn’t giving Sony‘s (NYSE:) Tablet S a markdown from its $500 price on Monday, but it is for the device with a purchase. An AC adapter, LCD screen protector and a charging cradle are included in the package. This Cyber Monday deal won’t save you money, but it will help you walk away with a slightly better value.
42-inch Vizio LED HDTV (Vizio)
Competitive pricing helped Vizio The private company has led the LCD television market for some time. Now that the high-end TV market is turning its attention to LED televisions, Vizio is aggressively moving to maintain its lead.
Vizio is offering solid discounts on its LED televisions directly. Its 42-inch LED HD television, which usually retails for $1,100, is discounted to . (And, in fact, the television had been marked off already to celebrate Cyber Monday early.)

The retailer is offering Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console with games Fable III and Halo Reach at a deep discount. The games and the system typically total $360 at retail, but they’ve been bundled together in one package available at retailers like Gamestop (NYSE:) for $300. Amazon will be selling this bundle on Cyber Monday .
