Fortune is out with its annual list of the top large companies for workers.
The report — which is limited to the Fortune 500 list of biggest companies — compiles information about employees, their pay, the number of applicants, benefits and other perks. Those factors are then combined and the top companies are revealed.

- (NYSE:): Workers get regular contact – and lunches – with upper management.
- (NYSE:): Multiple employee networks connect and diversify the workforce.
- (NYSE:): Ping-Pong tables and “pie-your-manager” competitions.
- (NYSE:): 10% of employees have been there 20 years or more.
- (NYSE:): Part-time workers get low-cost health insurance.
