Production: A new rumors out of Taiwan claims that Apple (AAPL) , reports MacRumors. The rumor claims that the oversea companies working on the iPhone 5c have already started winding down production of the devices and that they will stop completely midway through 2015. The removal of the iPhone 5c from the company’s current line would make it so that all of their smartphones being offered would be equipped with TouchID.
Sapphire
: Rumors surrounding , AppleInsider notes. Three companies in Taiwan that create sapphire glass have seen stock raise on the rumors. Each of these companies saw stocks raise 7%, which is the total a stock can raise in the country in a single day. A similar event happened with GT Advanced Technologies after rumors of a sapphire display for Apple’s iPhone 6 were spread around. The company’s stock soared, but then plummeted to the point of bankruptcy when the rumors turned out false.
iPhone: One iPhone owner , reports BGR. The video shows a person using the iPhone’s magnetometer, accelerator and microphone to track a magnet. The smartphone was able to track the magnet’s movement on a piece of paper and could even tell when it was being moved in three dimensions. The owner of the iPhone explained that these capabilities could be used for a plethora of things and could result in some very interesting accessories being made for the device.
