According to Microsoft, Xbox Live was running in a “Limited” capacity for many Xbox One users at around 6:20 p.m. CST. The exact reason for the service going down is unknown, but it was restored, reports GameSpot.
Xbox Live going down on Wednesday is the first major disruption of the service in 2015. Based on the message left by members of the Support Team for users, the company didn’t know what was behind the outage, reports

Users that are looking to check up on Xbox Live can do so . The service is up as of Thursday afternoon, but it does note that some users are having trouble connecting with the IGN app.
