Facebook is collecting Nepal Earthquake donations via its website and mobile apps. Users will find a post at the top of their News Feed asking them to donate money to help International Medical Corps with its efforts in the area.
Facebook has announced that it will be matching Nepal Earthquake donations up to $2 million. 100% of donations made through the social media service will go directly to the International Medical Corps.
Facebook has suggested Nepal Earthquake donation amounts of $10, $25, $50 and $100. However, there is also an option that lets users donate any amount.
The Nepal Earthquake occurred on April 25 and affected people living in Nepal, India and Bangladesh. Thousands were injured in the event and over 2,000 people have died.
