Verizon (VZ) Go90, the wireless carrier’s video streaming effort, may be on its way .
It’s been reported that the Verizon Go90 video streaming service had possible details leak when a website for it was launched early. The website has since been taken down, but not before some people got a look at it, reports The Consumerist.
Here are a few things to know about the service, as reported by The Consumerist.
- Verizon Go90 will be tested in late Summer.
- It will include TV shows, video clips and music videos.
- The initial test will only include a few thousand people.
- It will be free and supported by ads, but there will also likely be a subscription option.
- The service for Apple’s (AAPL) iOS and Google’s (GOOG,GOOGL) Android.
- Some content from the service will be exclusive to members of Verizon’s wireless network.
