Launch: Apple’s (AAPL) , reports
9to5Mac. All of the big three carriers in South Korea have reported that they’ve sold out all of their iPhone 6s and 6s Plus stock. The three wireless carriers announced that their stock of the new smartphones had sold out yesterday after they opened up preorders for the devices. The new iPhones officially launched in South Korea today.
TV: Apple CEO Tim Cook , MacRumors notes. According to Cook, preorders for the TV will start on October 26 and shipments will start being sent out at the end of the week. The new TV starts at $149 for the 32GB version and reaches $199 for the 64 GB version. It comes equipped with an A8 processor, full App Store access and a new Siri remote.
Mount: Apple , reports AppleInsider. The magnetic iPad mount would allow owners to attach the device to a variety of different stands. One such stand shows two iPad that are hooked together via the mounts to create a digital book. The patent claims that the new mount could use the magnetic attachment points already on the iPad to secure it to the mount. The magnetic mount is also designed in such a way that it won’t mess with sensitive equipment inside the iPad.
